Volunteer antics
We are looking for fabulous volunteers to help with the organisation and delivery of our Alternative Village Fete on 20th & 21st July in Meanwhile Gardens, North Kensington. The event will be free and accessible for all. Artists have been working with different local groups to devise new games and competitions and reimagining the village fete.
We are looking for enthusiastic, creative and dynamic volunteers to help with flyering, preparation before the fete and assisting our artists run their interactive fete games on the 20th and 21st July!
You must be available for 5 days between now and the fete, including the days of the fete on 20th & 21st July.
Travel costs and lunch will be provided.
Tasks will include:
Helping procure Raffle Prizes from local businesses
Collecting recycled materials and hand-painting fete signage
Spreading the word of the free fate far and wide (posters / leaflets / chatting people up and getting them excited to come!
Helping people access the silly games and competitions the artists and community groups will be putting on at the fete (including quite a key role in the sonic treasure hunt…)
Helping gather any donations towards our Gerry’s Pompeii pot from those keen to support (and those that will be when you’ve finished chatting them up)
Vox-Pop, interviews with participants on what their thoughts on the fete are…
